SPV 12-18 Electric submersible pumps

The SPV 12-18 are Electric submersible pumpsThe pumps are specially developed for use in industrial machine and process environments in which slightly contaminated media such as cooling water, emulsions or light oils are pumped. The pumps are mounted directly in tanks and are designed for continuous operation at fluid temperatures of up to 70 °C.

Execution

Pump type: Vertically submerged electric pump for tank mounting
Assembly: Directly in open liquid tanks (4-5 cm above tank bottom)
Materials (hydraulic part):
- Impeller, nut, pump body: made of nylon
Solids tolerance: For liquids with particles up to max. 3 mm
Media suitability:
- Water
- Emulsions
- Oil-containing media with viscosity up to 21 cSt (≈ 3°Engler)

Applications

Mechanical engineering & machine tools:
- Milling and turning machines
Glass processing:
- Also available as TRI version
Printing technology:
- Pump supply for dampening/washing agents
Air conditioning and cooling systems:
- Circulation of cooling media in chillers
General process environments with non-abrasive media

Max. Viscosity of the pumped liquid: 21 cSt
Installation instructions:
- Liquid level in the tank: 3-4 cm below the support flange
- Recommended tank design: Sedimentation zones with high dirt content
