LZ80 and LZ120 series - Slow-running gear pumps

Slow-running gear pumps of the Series LZ / LZ-GM are designed for highly viscous, lubricating media.
Typical applications: Bitumen, molasses and similar viscous fluids without solids.
It is driven by a geared motor with a maximum rated speed of 500 min-¹.

Properties

  • Design: External gear pump, volumetric, almost pulsation-free.
  • Materials (standard LZ):
    - Housing GG25, gears/shafts case-hardened steel (ground)
  • Sealing: Stuffing box with graphite rings (standard).
  • Operating behavior at high viscosity: Low speeds reduce shearing, heating and cavitation tendency; good suitability for viscous fluids.

Wide range of applications

Bitumen/asphalt products (heated, viscous; transfer/transfer).
Molasses, syrups (food/feed sector, without solids).
Lubricating and heavy oils, heating oils (transfer/recirculation).
Resins/waxes (preheatable, lubricating media - if compatible with the material).
