Chemical pumps for solvents and aggressive media

Chemical pumps are used to safely pump solvents, acids and other chemically aggressive media. Depending on the concentration, temperature and density of the medium, pumps made of stainless steel, PEEK or special plastic designs are used.

Technical requirements

  • High chemical resistance of the materials
  • Sealless or magnetically coupled designs possible
  • Lubrication:
    - Lubricating → E/FLM
    - Non/low lubricating, aqueous → E/FLM-PEEK
  • Temperature/viscosity: subject to design; avoid steam/gas components (cavitation-prone)
  • Control: FU for variable speed conveying
